Ammonium and Phosphate Recovery from Biogas Slurry: Multivariate Statistical Analysis Approach

Livestock biogas slurry is an effluent containing nutrients such as ammonium and phosphate that are released by the industries. Therefore, recovery reuse of phosphorus highly necessary. In recent years, many studies have been devoted to use different multivariate statistical analyses investigate interrelationship one factor another factor. The overall objective this research study was understand significance from using approach. This conducted a range salts commonly found in (ZnCl2, FeCl3, FeCl2, CuCl2, Na2CO3, NaHCO3). Experiments with digester aqueous solution were at pH 9, integration NH4+, Mg2+, PO43− molar ratios 1.0, 1.2, 1.8, respectively. removal efficiency increased 15.0% 71.0% 18.0% 99.0%, respectively, increasing dose respective ions K+, Zn2+, Fe3+, Fe2+, Cu2+, CO32−. elements 58.0 71.0 for HCO3−, concentration 30 mg L−1 240 L−1. Principal component, regression, path analysis, Pearson correlation used relationships under biochar, pyrolysis temperature, element efficiencies. Multivariate analysis also comprehensively evaluate biochar struvite effects on slurry. results showed combined statistics suggested all indicators positively or negatively affected each other. insignificant ionic concentrations, more than significant 0.05. concluded type, varying levels components, CO32−, had substantial impact P NH4+ recovery. Temperature amounts metal enhanced efficacy elucidated methods which effectively reuses nitrogen slurry, presenting long-term agricultural solution.
